1. There was an exploit on Starlay, a lending/borrowing protocol on Acala EVM, where around 2.2M$ in DOT and LDOT were stolen.
2. The affected users requested compensation for their loss, and Starlay proposed a significant compensation in ASTR tokens which covered between 20 and 30% of the loss.
3. Acala helped Starlay in finding solutions and unilaterally sent some DOTs to affected users, covering an additional 5% of the loss.
4. The affected users would like to submit a vote to Acala governance for additional compensation, and they requested 150k$ in ACA from Acala treasury as a final compensation.
5. The funds will be transferred to a multisig account between a well-known figure of the dotsama community and a representative of the affected users, and the transfer will be made to all affected users in proportion to their loss if the treasury proposal is approved.
