BIG NAY

A flexible token like this doesn't add real value — algorithmic supply adjustments only create the illusion of stability while amplifying uncertainty. We've seen similar models like Ampleforth or Basis lose traction due to user confusion, poor price discovery, and lack of sticky demand. Worse, tying it directly to ACA could create unintended feedback loops — for example, inflated FlexACA supply during bull runs could distort ACA markets, while sharp deflations could trigger panic or drain ACA liquidity. Instead of strengthening the ecosystem, it risks undermining confidence in ACA itself

NAY— This proposal is premature. Before launching experimental tokens, we need to focus on bringing more real assets into Acala’s DeFi ecosystem and reactivating the ambassador program to rebuild community engagement and visibility. Let’s strengthen the foundation before adding complex layers.

NO.

I appreciate the Acala team's effort to explore new ideas and push innovation, BUT this proposal doesn't make economic or technical sense at this stage.

Nay. This proposal feels disconnected from the current priorities and challenges the ecosystem is facing. Right now, we need solutions that restore confidence, drive real utility, and bring ACA back into active circulation. A rebasing synthetic token adds complexity without solving the core issue: visibility and adoption. Let's redirect our focus toward initiatives that attract users and revitalize the network before it's too late.

I don't think this is a bad idea. Quite different thought, we've seen in this round ppl just seek for something to hype more than something to use. This is the truth that we have to face. Tell me why ppl choose to participate in Binance alpha farming rather than reading any shitty tech docs like in 2017? if this token lives I'll ape in at the first minute.

It's never too late unless you decide ignore what happened in the outside world. Give an Aye to this.

Never forget Acala is a DeFi chain and we need to onboard as many kinds of DeFi protocol as possible here.

I think this is perfect for the ecosystem. Don't be bearish on it. You see even it's a simple hype, even it only bring short-term demand for ACA token, at least it's kind of demand, at least it's kind of buy-in in secondary market.

And I wish there could be a DOT version of this coin

If executed well, it's a way to add value, utility, and dynamism. Ultimately, creating attractive products is essential. I just hope they execute it correctly.
